About me

I’m Cátia — an expert massage therapist and occupational therapist, trained in craniosacral work, Thai massage, biomagnetism, and currently studying osteopathy.

But beyond my professional journey, I am a woman and a mother of two. In my early 40s, when I had my second daughter, I went through a very difficult time. After a heavy hemorrhage during birth, I lost a lot of blood and struggled with exhaustion, sleepless nights, lack of energy, and very low patience. I felt like I had nothing left for myself and my family.

Through functional training, yoga, restorative practices, nutrition awareness, and holistic therapies, I slowly rebuilt my vitality — step by step. This retreat is born from my own journey, and my wish is to share the tools and practices that helped me transform fatigue, low energy, and self-doubt into strength, clarity, and renewed confidence.

If I could rebuild myself, so can you. And I’d love to walk this path together.

Niamh Asple

Niamh is a Feminine Embodiment Coach, Somatic Womb Worker, and Holistic Women's Wellness Practitioner. She fuses Western Medicine's somatics and neuroscience & with East Asian medicine’s theory, philosophy & practical wisdom to create a space of holistic healing and holding for women and females.

Pelvic Connection: A Women’s Wellness Workshop

This nourishing workshop offers women a gentle, embodied space to reconnect with the wisdom of the womb and pelvic bowl. Guided by Niamh, a Feminine Embodiment Coach and Somatic Womb Worker, you’ll explore simple yet powerful tools– breath, awareness, movement, and sound, to help clear stagnation, restore flow in your bowl while deepening your sensitivity to your body’s needs.

Blending the ancient wisdom of Chinese medicine with modern somatics and neuroscience, this workshop supports you in releasing tension, honoring your cyclical rhythms, and returning home to your own inner ground of power, creativity, and wholeness.

Perfect for women experiencing PMS, perimenopause or menopause shifts, pelvic heaviness, emotional stress, or simply a longing to feel more connected to themselves.

Kaley Johnson

Registered Nutritional Therapist & Functional Nurse
Kaley brings over a decade of experience as a Registered Nurse in Canada and later trained as a Nutritional Therapist (GradDip, BANT registered) with a Master’s Degree in Nursing. Combining her background in critical care, yoga, and functional nutrition, she offers a truly holistic approach to women’s health.

With expertise in root-cause nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and nutrigenomics, Kaley empowers women to understand their bodies, balance hormones, and restore energy.

During this retreat, she will guide us in a 2-hour nutrition session, offering practical tools to procure resilience in perimenopause. She will share simple tactics to improve your sleep, mood, energy, and focus with nutrition, lifestyle, and supplements. With the right education, you can acquire tools that will provide a smooth hormonal transition.

The Place

Our journey unfolds at the breathtaking Suryalila Retreat Centre, nestled in the rolling hills of Andalusia. Surrounded by unspoiled nature, olive groves, and the songs of birds, it’s a sanctuary where stillness and vitality meet.

The nearest airports are:
Seville Airport (SVQ) – approximately 1h15 away
Malaga Airport (AGP) – approximately 2h15 away

Transfers:
Suryalila can arrange transfers from both airports.
Transportation is usually shared among participants in comfortable vans.
The average cost is around €100 from Seville and €160 from Malaga, depending on the number of guests sharing the ride.
