Meeting Bojan Babic @Suryalila
Osteothai for the lower back condition
Restoring Lost Rhythm and Mobility in the Lumbar Spine
Almost 60% of our patients come to see us with a pathology related to lower back pain. This area of the Central Channel is an important meeting point of different structures and systems: musculoskeletal, visceral, nervous, fascial, and energetic. They all converge to serve the numerous levels of human functions.
During this Osteothai course, we focus on the spine, mainly the lower back area, to help improve vertebrae mobility, restore vitality, and restore ease of movement. “I met Bojan in Berlin in 2023 when he was assisting at an Osteothai training I was participating in. I really liked the way he assisted, friendly and precise alike. Therefore, when I got to know that he would be holding a weekend workshop not too far from where I live I immediately decided to sign up.
To say that the workshop met my expectations would be an understatement. The content was super valuable and made me implement new exciting dynamic and Osteothai ‘techniques’ into my sessions which my clients love. But just as impressive as the content was Bojan’s teaching style. He really knows how to combine professionalism (not the boring kind, though!), fun, and empathy into a perfect medley.
Moreover, I have never experienced such unambiguous and helpful assists / hand ons when we were practising in pairs before. Bojan is definitely a natural, and I think everyone in the room was able to tell that he loves what he’s doing and is living his Dharma full-on!
I’m super thankful to have met such a wonderful teacher and I’m already looking forward to the next workshop with Bojan.”
“As a Thai Yoga Massage Teacher
Being a Thai Yoga Massage Practitioner myself I never stop learning from great teachers in Europe and beyond.
My last Workshop this autumn was the Dynamic Thai Massage with Bojan at Yolaya in Freiburg.
Bojan is an amazing teacher, not only showing clear, simple yet deep sequences and techniques, but also explaining his steps in a very valuable way, that helped me taking better care of my own positioning and balancing before taking care of the other. It was like I learned once again to root myself before starting to fly.
I felt guided and held in an exceptional way by his concentration and dedication throughout the entire 5 days.
Together with Julia from Yolaya they were a real pleasure to be around with and learning was fun, easy and challenging.
My own practice became more rhytmical, deep and confident. Thanks Bojan, I will be back for sure for more magic and beauty.
...and after a full Massage Treatment
After watching Bojan massaging (like he was dancing) in his Workshop it was clear to me that I needed to feel it myself.
As much as I really needed a good treatment, which I very much got, I learned though his touch the essence of magic hands and movements. Bojan was able to treat precise, worked dynamically quite deep into the joins, muscles and tissues but always playful like in waves, so that my body could fully surrender to my own rhythm and weight.
My spine and shoulders felt liberated and vital afterwards and again I learned for my own practise to slow down and deepen my touch, while finding the melody.
Amazing Bojan!!!”
